Being, existing, surviving.
Is that really living? Is that making full account of the multiple faculties you possess and the full tools at your disposal. Have you allowed yourself to be trapped into just getting by, day to day? Ask yourself - are you utilizing your passions and talents or are you merely a small cog in a large wheel, replaceable and ultimately making no difference.
Does your soul ache to be more? Somewhere deep inside is there a voice that speaks to you of your greater importance? In those quiet moments of reflection does every fibre of your being vibrate with the warm assurance that you have more to offer in this life?
Let me make a suggestion.
Become. Change. Live.
The world, in its warped way has suggested that to succeed we must conform to normality. That to survive and get by is acceptable. That in fact the greater good is to be part of the commonality. You want to be Average Joe, you want to be like the Jones', you want to be the common man.
Today I suggest the opposite. I believe the world needs something more unique. Men of vision, men of love, men of commitment and men of action. Uncommen men.
This world needs men like you.
Somewhere deep inside of you, something is stirring. Your inner voice knows I am right. You know you have it in you. You know you want to be more. You know you could be more. But then doubt and fear takes over again convincing you that either it is too much work or you just dont have the time, the capacity or the wherewithal to really make the kind of a difference, your heart dares to dream. And all across the world others, just like you and just like me, settle back in their chair in their office cubicle, or their recliner in front of the TV and reassure themselves that they're doing ok.
But my friend, that is not good enough anymore. Shake of the shackles of doubt. Rediscover that vision that once stirred your youthful steps. Become that man once more. But this time dont get trapped in mediocrity. Arise! Arise from the dust of commonality and become a man.
An uncommon man.
